Before Sherwood Art Week starts

Provide help / technical assistance for artists to install artwork in shops

Develop Map or trail for Art in Shops and Exhibitions

Develop school worksheets/guides for local primary schools

Organise feedback questionnaires for SAW visitors/users

Develop fundraising activities

Collecting and preparation of artists’ statements

Publicity

Preparation of press releases and following up opportunities for press coverage

Help collating information for SAW leaflets, website etc

Identify areas for publicity

Distribution of publicity

During Sherwood Art Week

Art Marquee at Sherwood Festival at Woodthorpe Park on Saturday 16^th June

Help set up for workshops and demonstrations

Assist workshop leaders

Steward marquee

Promote Sherwood Art Week to residents at Sherwood festival

Take bookings for activities/workshops taking place during the week

Headquarters

We need volunteers to act as information givers at a central point in Sherwood during the week

Taking bookings and payments for workshops

Promote what’s going on during the week

Exhibitions Friday 22^nd – Sunday 24^th June

Help with setting up in different exhibition venues before Friday 22^nd June – moving and setting up display boards, signposting, help artists install work etc

Take part in stewarding the exhibition venues for the weekend

Help dismantling exhibitions and returning all equipment to storage on Monday 25^th June

Craft Fair on Saturday 23^rd June

Help with setting up on Friday 22^nd and Saturday 23^rd morning – constructing market stalls, getting site ready, signage, helping makers set up stalls

Returning equipment to storage on Monday
