One of the artists involved in Sherwood Art Week has started Saturday morning Pilates classes at St. John's Church (the site of one of this years exhibition spaces).
Sue is a qualified instructor and aims to get us all relaxing and stretching our way to good health.

The chosen pieces are not, however, just used as set decoration but are an integral element of the plays narrative.
A member of The Nottingham Society of Artists and a contributing artist in the last two Sherwood Art Weeks, Eirian has fifteen of her paintings displayed onstage throughout each performance until November 20th.
Eirian says it has not only been an honour to be asked to participate but also "a wonderful and exciting experience".
As well as going backstage at the theatre to witness the construction of the set she has also taken part in public talks and enjoyed some first night partying!
Throughout the run visitors to the Playhouse are also able see an exhibition of her work in the theatre bar.
We'd like to congratulate Eirian on her success as she's proved art is not only for Everyone but also for Everywhere!

As previously posted this years event takes place on Saturday November 20th from 10am - 4pm at The Place Activity Centre, Melrose Street, Sherwood.
Admission is free and this would be a great opportunity to find christmas presents that are both unique & decently priced from some of the finest makers in the area.
There will be a selection of prints, lanterns, jewellery, t-shirts, ceramics, knitwear and lots more!
The organisers of the Sherwood Craft Fairs also have a new website located here.
It's in the early stages of development so don't forget to have a gander there.
